This joint project between the Fundación Goyeneche’s Garagune Centre (Easo) and Medialab Tabakalera has not only aimed to create a self-published magazine, but also to support and integrate Garagune members into the social and commercial fabric of Plaza Easo, where Garagune Easo is located. On the other hand, motor skills are put to work, and activities have been planned that revert to the context they wish to speak about, ultimately distributing these fanzines amongst neighbourhood residents. This fanzine was worked on in six sessions comprised of a group of seven, with each session lasting one hour and a half. The group worked on expression through collage and drawing. In each session, different materials were distributed. Experimenting with these materials filled each of the fanzine’s pages with an explosion of different elements to represent the ideas that we chose to work on together, including Garagune’s definition, representations of the neighbourhood’s places of transit, affective relationships with the sea, and interviews. The publications can be found catalogued in the fanzine collection at Medialab Tabakalera’s Library.
