Romana Radlwimmer

She is a researcher specialized in Romance Languages and an academic professor at the Universities of Salamanca, Lisbon, Kansas City and Augsburg (since 2009). She likewise holds a PhD in Hispanic Philology from the University of Vienna (2012). She is the author of articles on literature and cultural studies and of the book Knowledge in Motion (Königshausen&Neumanna 2015), a study on the performative and transformative potential of literary theory and cultural feminism in Latin America. She is a translator and member of the organizing committee for the  El Mundo Zurdo International Conference, held regularly at the Universities of San Antonio (Texas) in honor of the work of the border thinker Gloria Anzaldúa. Co-organizer of the Beyond Borders: Cross-Border Mexican and Chicano Literatures and Cultures  International Conference at the University of Augsburg (2017).
