Estampa is an artistic collective of filmmakers, programmers and researchers working in the fields of experimental audiovisual and digital environments. Their practice is based on a critical and archaeological approach to audiovisual and digital technology, which allows us to understand how it works, its uses and its construction as a discursive object. In recent years they have developed different projects on the uses and ideologies of artificial intelligence and its influence on contemporary visual culture. Be it in artistic research pieces such as El mal alumno. Critical Pedagogy for Artificial Intelligences (2017-2018) or in installations such as Auspices (2019) or Martian Species (2021), among many others. His work also includes experimental animation pieces (such as En la colonia penitenciaria, 2010) and video-essays (the latest being The Process of Seeing, 2020, and ¿Qué es lo que ves, YOLO9000?, 2019).
