Mayte Gómez Molina (Madrid by accident, Granada by choice, 1993) is a writer and digital artist focused on the practice of 3D and virtual reality as a poetic vehicle. Her work explores the way in which new technologies generate an innovative space to deal with universal and timeless themes, in an attempt to humanise digital devices and spaces and bring them closer to people. He has participated in the official section of the Supernova Digital Arts Festival in Denver (Colorado, USA), in the exhibition Frame & Frequency VII in Rockville (Maryland), in the festival Me gustas Pixelad_ at La Casa Encendida (Madrid) and in Immaterial TV at the Tabakalera (Donostia). His first solo exhibition, Me veo la nuca, took place in 2021 at the University of Granada, and generated his first publication, Mi Piel Virtual, Cansada, a collection of poems that explores the problems of searching for our identity within digital spaces.
