The imagination comes to life while dreaming, as well as symbols and words. It all begins while dreaming. So does language. And language begins with sound, breathing, smells, caresses, heartbeats, voices and gazes.
There will be four sessions, on the four Saturdays of the month of March. Each of them will have its own dynamic, but they will all be linked by voice, rhythm, music, image, body and words.
The first day, Yolanda Arrieta will show us how to express verses with our hands, our feet, the nose, the eyes and eyebrows, the entire body dancing with words. The second day, Itsaso Arrieta will show us how to sing old Basque children’s songs playing with our voice, rhythm and memory. The third day, Aitziber Alonso will help us to express in images what poems and words hide behind them. The fourth day Yolanda Arrieta will be back, and using what was learned during the previous sessions, she will encourage us to create new lyrics with the aid of poems written by other people.
It is a global proposal that follows the refrain of every workshop: to learn from everyone, with everyone, and to have a good time.
Although the sessions are related to each other, it is also possible to take part in them independently.
