In the search of supporting and contributing to the mobility of artists, and encouraging the cultural exchange and multidisciplinary amongst them, CCA, Hosptialfield and Tabakalera launch a residency programme.
The aim of this call is an exchange residency between CCA, in Glasgow, Hospitalfield, in Arbroath, both in Scotland and Tabakalera - International Centre for Contemporary Culture, in Donostia-San Sebastian, Spain. This programme is developed with the collaboration of Etxepare Basque Institute and the British Council.
This call is addressed to artists developing their artistic practices within the Basque Country (the Basque Autonomous Community, the Autonomous Community of Navarre and the French Basque Country) who are willing to explore new artistic contexts in CCA and Hospitalfield and expand their artistic trajectory whilst the development of their practices.
The residency, which will last eight weeks will offer space, context and time for the development of an artistic project. It will take place from September to October, 2023. The residency will be split in two: September to be spent in Hospitalfield and October in CCA.
From all the proposals received, only one project will be selected.
