Agitprop!: the images shake. And they’re stirred up by the musical accompaniment. They burn in 1965 in Santiago Álvarez’s Moviola in revolutionary Cuba. They cry out against imperialism under the Grupo Cine Liberación in Argentina in 1967. They become weapons of defiance on the barricades in May 68 in Paris. They flee from the archives and networks in Jean-Gabriel Périot’s short musicals. In just over an hour, we’ll be looking at 47 years of urgent short revolutionary traces, fighting images.
