The aim of the workshop is to introduce the theoretical-practical tools necessary to train new colourists to go on to work in post-production processes. The objective is to begin with a series of activities and classes that take us from the beginnings of colour film to the new audiovisual formats and then go on to the colour room for practical sessions.
The colour correction software for video that we will use is DaVinci Resolve. The audiovisual laboratory 2DEO will have the use of a fully-equipped colour room so that we can learn how to use the software and generate content with which we can work and experiment.
In addition to the class sessions, each month there will be a guest (colourist, director of photography, etc.) who will complement the know-how acquired in class. In May Pau Castejón will be with us to offer the first masterclass.
The workshop will consist of 10 sessions that will take place between May 4 and July 27.
