PRAKTIKASTIKA is a collaboration proposal between Tabakalera’s Mediation Department and a Secondary Education learning centre to carry out a long-term project that makes it possible for the school setting to work with art in new and different ways.
The open calls that Tabakalera’s mediation department offers are aimed at producing long-term relationships and processes to pave the way for collaborations open to two-way learning with the educational community. They are extended throughout the school year and offer an opportunity to strengthen relationships between different agents, explore new collaboration paths, and create joint reflection spaces. This by understanding contemporary culture and artistic practices as instruments for said reflection and the development of collective learning processes.
In addition, we encourage jumping from practice to reflection and making thought a work philosophy. We do not want to divide the two fields because they are continuously feeding each other.
