Carpeta Propia Compartida, Aimar Arriola’s proposal in the exhibition will be activated by the artist, researcher and activist duen xara sacchi as part of his research Reading Aloud. The five actions are intended to demonstrate the normative dimension and colonial use of reading and to explore the voice as an aesthetic matter and gesture of resistance.
The voice as aesthetic matter, as a way of producing the materiality of the affective, sexed and political body is the site for aesthetic production in the project. Because reading aloud is also an act of resistance. It means taking the press by assault.
