Sahatsa Jauregi (Itaparica, 1984) lives and works in Bilbao.
Sahatsa Jauregi is currently a teaching professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of the Basque Country.
She has recently exhibited individually and collectively in different spaces including Spirit Vessel (Girona, 2023), Artium (2023), The Ryder (Madrid, 2022) Aparador Monteleón (Madrid, 2022), Galería The Goma (Madrid, 2022), Azkuna Zentroa (Bilbao), Artiatx (Bilbao, 2021), Tabakalera (San Sebastian, 2021), Galería Fran Reus (Palma de Mallorca, 2021), Palacio Horcasitas (Balmaseda, 2021), and Halfhouse (Barcelona, 2019).
Jauregi has received many awards: Gipuzkoa New Artist Programme 2013, First Prize at Ertibil 2017, the Gure Artea Award 2019, and the Community of Madrid's ARCO Award. She has completed residencies at Tabakalera (San Sebastian, 2019), Halfhouse (Barcelona, 2019), Fundación Bilbaoarte (Bilbao, 2016), and the Pacific Film Archive (Berkeley, 2012).
