Take Me Home

Take me home (John Denver, 1971).

The return home as a symbol of a trip to re-encounter the central components of who I am: my childhood, the places I regard as my roots and the people who have accompanied me. Through these three points of reference, the work will involve an investigation beginning with techniques such as acrylic and gouache to create flat textures in a style reminiscent of pop art.

The idea of experiences and their reflection in the memory will take on a poetic structure in the form of animals, words, objects, etc. that will evoke a first perception of the memories and the feelings that they awaken, turning a seemingly lifeless medium into a human ecosystem that is full of movement.
