Thorsten Schütte

German documentary-maker Thorsten Schütte has been working as a screenwriter, director and producer for more than 20 years. His films include World Jazz (1998), Trip to Brazil (2001), The Cactus of Knowledge (2001), I Was the King of Porn – The Adventurous Life of Lasse Braun (2002) and Namibia Generation X (2005). His films, which invite reflection and have reaped hearty acclaim, have been screened at numerous international festivals including Sundance, IDFA and Berlinale.
