Iratxe Jaio and Klaas van Gorkum

Iratxe Jaio & Klaas van Gorkum are artists. They have worked together since 2001. In their practice they analyse and question everyday notions of authorship, cultural identity and relations of production.

Solo exhibitions include: "Of Mortgages and Marriages", Joey Ramone Gallery Rotterdam (2015); "The Margins of the Factory", ADN Platform, Barcelona (2014); "Réinventer le monde autour de l'usine", FRAC-Aquitaine, Bordeaux (2013); and "Amikejo", MUSAC, Léon (2011). Their work has also been exhibited in Museum San Telmo (Donostia-San Sebastian); Kunsthalle Exnergasse (Vienna); Koldo Mitxelena Kulturgunea (Donostia-San Sebastian); TENT Center for Contemporary Art (Rotterdam); Fabra i Coats (Barcelona); De Appel (Amsterdam); Konsthall C (Stockholm); and MARCO (Vigo).
