This call is addressed to artists developing their artistic practices within the Basque Country (Basque Autonomous Community, Navarre and Iparralde) who are willing to explore new artistic contexts in Morpho and expand their artistic trajectory whilst the development of their practices.
Morpho gives time, space and support to artists and has a dual function as an artist residency and a studios provider, with the aim of fostering a dynamic and sustainable context for artistic work. They manage studios for over 250 artists in Antwerpen and run a residency for Belgian-based and international artists with whom they build relationships and trajectories.
The residency, which will last eleven weeks, will offer space, context and time for the development of an artistic project. It will take place from October to December, 2024.
From all the proposals received, one project will be selected.
The aim of this call is to offer the possibility of an artistic residency at Morpho, in the Belgian city of Antwerp.
