Máquinas de ingenio. Jakintzen bidegurutzean: Comisaria de la exposición, artistas y demás agentes

Throughout this day we want to share the artistic processes that we have supported this year around the axis of Art, Science, Technology and Society (ASTS) that we have been developing from Tabakalera since 2020.

This session will take place in the space for activities and documentation that we have designed in the exhibition Máquinas de Ingenio - Jakintzen bidegurutzean. In a concentrated way, we wanted to invite the curator of the exhibition, Maria Ptqk, as well as the artists participating in it, as they have developed new productions in collaboration with scientific entities. On the other hand, we have also invited the five artists who last June were residents at the Tabakalera Artists' Space, thanks to the residency resulting from a collaboration between the University of the Basque Country - Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea and Tabakalera.

Holding this event in the exhibition hall itself will make it easier to get a closer look at the work processes behind each of the pieces. Likewise, some of the residents, as well as taking part in the round table, will also show their pieces in the exhibition hall.
